Dust

I really struggled with this book. Whilst the plot-line itself was good, it was eclipsed by Scarpetta,s incessant whining. I confess I skipped these boring monologues just so I could get to the end and find out whodunnit. I used to like the Scarpetta series, but the last few books have not been up to Cornwell's usual standards. “Dust” was very disappointing and, sadly, I consider this to be a parting of the ways for Scarpetta and me.
