Descender, Vol. 2: Machine Moon

Watching Tim's present dire situation juxtaposed with his past happiness with the Tavers family was heartbreaking.

Goshdarnit but I love this little robot. I read this volume on the subway to work and was sad when I realized I forgot to put the next volume on hold already. I like the characters, and the character design. I'm rooting for Tim-21 and very into the secret robot world.

Again I'm really impressed by the artwork...I really like the watercolour style. The story progresses pretty good in this second volume, expanding the world and revealing some surprises. I continue to enjoy the characters and am super interested to see where things go from here.

Further adventures of Tim-21 and his companions. Tim and Quon and Telsa are taken by the Hardwire, the robot resistance, to the City of Robots, where Tim-21 is tested and befriended by Tim-22. Meanwhile, Bandit, Driller, and Telsa's second in command are discovered by a young Scrapper named...Andy.
