Day Shift

I feel like Harris is still building her universe for this series which is odd considering it takes place within the universe of all of her other series! But nothing really happened in this book except the introduction (or reintroduction) of several characters, mostly from the Sookie Stackhouse world. There was they mystery of the missing jewelry and what really happened to Rachel Gladstone, but that never felt urgent or like it was the main focus. Maybe because there were just too many things going on at the same time and not much was resolved or revealed.
