This delightful fantasy novel was a charming palate cleanser, offering an enchanting mix of magic, science, whimsy, and, of course, dragons! With strong "I'm a what?!" vibes reminiscent of Harry Potter, the story follows a fast-paced and engaging journey of discovery. While I'm not the target audience— this reads as a middle-grade adventure-it's still an en joyable and well-crafted tale.

The only thing I would have liked to see more of is the lore and world-building, though these are minor details.

The book is undeniably cute, full of heart, and perfect for young readers who love magical worlds. Though it leans heavily into the Teen/YA category, I always appreciate a good YA story, and this one certainly delivers in terms of charm and imagination. If you have a young Fantasy fan in your life, especially one who adores Harry Potter, this book would be an excellent addition to their shelf!
