Dark Witch

Nora always delivers...although this one seemed like a couple of the characters, Meara and Conner, weren't as well developed. I'm sure that's because this is the first of a trilogy.

Classic Nora Roberts, in my opinion–Irish, magical, lots of found family and fun animal companions. A lovely escape for a rainy afternoon.

 This is exactly the type of Nora Roberts books that I love. There's magic and the battle between good and evil. There is a circle of family and friends and lovers. I loved the characters. Particularly Connor and Fin. I can't wait for their stories.
Yes, this series reminds me of other Nora Roberts trilogies (Circle trilogy, Sign of Seven trilogy) but that doesn't take anything away from the story.
