When you read a book in one sitting, it says something about the book. I read Dark Matter in one sitting. I couldn't stop reading.

Jason teaches physics in a small college. He was once a promising physicist, but he chose to devote his life to his family and his dreams of fame faded away. One night, while returning home from drinks with a friend, he is abducted by a stranger in a geisha mask and taken to...his own city, his own home, but is it? Everything is changed, yet he is still Jason. But is he? And where is his wife and son? And why is he a respected physicist? What is happening?

Dark Matter may be as close as I've come to reading a movie script; it's a book with snappy dialogue and fascinating action and mystery. Surely someone is working on this book right now to make a movie from it.
