Sigh: The need for the “observer” to be conscious is not supported by scientific research, and has been pointed out as a misconception rooted in a poor understanding of the quantum wave function ψ and the quantum measurement process,[4][5][6] apparently being the generation of information at its most basic level that produces the effect.
I was offended by this concept of: there's a compound — that one can mainline — that turns off the observer effect because it's apparently located in the brain.
Also very weak, or perhaps unappealing, characters.
Daniella is a trophy; her main function in the story is to be a reward and to make Jason likeable and she seems to have little autonomy.
Jason has a huge ego as he only considered other Jasons (his ownself) to have created ‘the box' — which is an SF trope. Also did not find the monicker ‘Jason 2' amusing.
I did enjoy the Jason chatroom. Also the part when he goes to purchase a gun was well done.
