Daring and the Duke The Bareknuckle Bastards Book III

I found myself reading this book more for the glimpses at Devil and Beast's life than anything to do with Grace. Is Grace a really cool character? Yes, yes she is. Did I care at all about her love for Ewan? Nope. After spending two books learning how absolutely horrid Ewan is, I had absolutely zero sympathy for him. Yes, MacLean DOES make him grovel over and over again, and yes, we find out more about what actually happened THAT night, but I still didn't care. It was very hard to flip that switch for me, to go from oh shit he's a NASTY guy, to oh he's now the love interest. I dunno, maybe someone else will adore this book.

I love, love, love the first two books in this trilogy but I'm sad to say that this one just didn't match up for me.
