I really enjoyed most of this book. I was enjoying the plot, and the characters. However, when it veered off to the gods and goddesses, I didn't enjoy it as much. I thought the narrator did a great job. I was also happy that it wasn't romance heavy.

It was a fun light read, but honestly, it was a little dry. I'll read book 2. Hopefully, the characters develop more.
