Not bad but has some issues and needs another pass

The story wasn't bad, but some of the English is rough. I don't know if this is translated or if English just is the author's second language. There is some odd phrasing and slightly incorrect word choices or tense. For example own is used a lot when it should be owe and resume when it should be summary or something else. I am also not sure who the cover is supposed to be.
