Coven

I don't like it when protagonists don't see what's right in front of them, or when their choices don't match with their personality, or their desires. Shame.

This book is just below ‘meh' for me. The more I read it and thought about it, the more I realized I didn't like it. I wanted to fight the main character, the story kind of jumped around, and the parts I wanted it to go further into it simply didn't.

I really liked the art and the plot for the most part. I liked the enemies to friends dynamic, but I found the resolution of a lot of the relationships in the story unsatisfying and unrealistic. The plot twist did not surprise me. That being said, I would read another story about Emsy and the coven (especially if Ash is featured).

I really liked the illustrations and the art style, as well as the plot (I have a soft spot for witchy stories). I just wish it was executed better. The characters felt one-dimensional and the ending felt rushed.
