Conscience: The Search for Truth

Conscience: The Search for Truth

1979

Early in the twentieth century the Russian philosopher P. D. Ouspensky searched extensively in both the East and West for an entirely unknown source of effective knowledge about humanity and the universal world that could free humanity from the dominating material forces which he saw so clearly and which are now visible in almost every aspect of our culture: in the uncontrolled applications of technology, in education, the family, the arts and in the breaking down of religious traditions as well as in the impending danger to the earth itself.
