Cold the Night, Fast the Wolves

I tried, but I had to stop. She makes horrible plans, doesn't see how she was in the wrong, keeps playing victim, and that's just about the main character. We're now halfway through the book and the race hasn't started. Many things keep getting repeated and I'm just... tired.
If you can handle a slower start and an unlikeable character then totally give it a shot. I'm just not going to root for a character that bites/abuses an animal and barely cares that she is the cause of another dying.
