Clockwork Angel

I buddy read this with Erin. This was her first time reading this book but it was a reread for me. I will leave my original review below but I wanted to say what I thought of it this time as well. I still really enjoyed this and I did forget a lot of what happened but as stuff happened I was like oh yeah I remember that so it didn't pack as much of a punch as it did the first time I read it which is understandable. I read this for the first time in 2016 which I believe is when I first started getting into reading. Back then I didn't really have any preferences when it came to reading. I noticed this time around that the chapters are long which I don't particularly enjoy and I remembered it being more action packed then it actually was. Overall I still really enjoyed this book and look forward to continuing with my reread. This time around I gave it 4 stars as opposed to the 5 stars I gave it before.

Wow!! Just wow!! What's left to say. I think this was a great first book to a series. When I started this book I will admit I was a little skeptical I didn't think I was going to get into it as much as I did. I found myself not wanting to put the book down and when I had to I found myself constantly thinking about it. This was my first Cassandra Clare book and I cant believe it took me so long to read it. I was instantly drown into the Shadowhunter world and I cant wait to dive deeper into the story. I am glad I have the rest of the series to read already because I don't know what I would do otherwise. I mean what kind of ending was that lol.
