this felt like i was reading a goosebumps book but like...one of the mediocre ones even though i did really like the whole control-a-deadly-spider-with-telepathy-and-a-flute thing and the fact that mr crepsley doesn't give a single hoot about anything. whatta mood
I loved the novels growing up but I've never read the manga adaptation. It was certainly a lot better than the movie, but I'm not sure if I'll be reading the others, unless I happen upon them at the library. Mostly it makes me just want to re-read the proper books.
Sidenote: wtf is up with Mr Crepsley's outfit in this? Steampunk looking clothes, yeah okay maybe, but topped off with a ‘cat in the hat' looking top hat and slides for shoes??? bold choice lmao
