This was a nice book. As a person who has always loved mythology (especially the Greek one), I can say that this is a well written book. It didn't leave me with that wow feeling, but I really liked it.

I loved how Circe evolved through the chapters. From a little girl ready to do anything in order to please the ones around her, she becomes a strong, beautiful woman. She learns how to love, how to appreciate the world around her, how to be better. I didn't really like her “relationship” with Odysseus because I didn't like him as a person AT ALL. But she learned a lot from that relationship and eventually it brought her something amazing: Telemah and Telegonus.

The ending was... really powerful.
“I thought once that gods are the opposite of death, but I see now they are more dead than anything, for they are unchanging, and can hold nothing in their hands.”
Circe chose to leave her immortality behind and become human and live a long, beautiful life alongside Temelah. That was really emotional and I loved her decision so much. She was so strong, so powerful and such an amazing person.
