Choker

Wow, I have no words. This was so intense.

This book was very creepy. I really liked how even though the story line wasn't complicated it still kept my interest. One thing I do wished the author would have done is explained why Cara had the psychology issues she had. Overall, I this was a good psychology thriller and it was a quick read.

Choker is a pretty good first novel. The pacing was great, the story was interesting and realistic. I had some issues with the character of Cara. I didn't like her. She never seemed to speak for herself (opening herself up to have her life run by an overbearing best friend).

It has been awhile since I was in high school, but the terror of being bullied is alive and well in this story. There are some creepy elements that will give readers shivers. Overall, a good read.
