I just finished Chasing the Light by Julio Boggio and here are my thoughts.

Francesca hates weddings. Yet this is how she gets paid, being the videographer to bridezillas. Standing amongst guests at her latest wedding she suddenly spots Krish. Her ex.... A man she ran away from 5 years ago stating there was someone else.

Krish has been working for Connor Knight for years but now he is ready to branch out on his own and his girlfriend is wonderful and he is ready to commit.... Everything is going great until he sees Francesca.

Krish is thrown through a loop but he has to know why Francesca left him and thanks to fate they end up spending more and more time together. Will Francesca tell Krish her painful truth?

First thing to note, this is book 2 of the photographers trilogy but it does standalone as well. I loved the wedding element within this book. I am a sucker for romance so this was a brilliant setting for me. I am not normally a fan of second chance romance books because I often feel that there shouldn't be the need for a second chance but this one I totally understood. I wish Francesca had been honest with Krish in the beginning but I understand why she ran.
I don't normally like to include what I feel are spoilers but the book opened up a subject I didn't know much about and seeing how Francesca's quality of life was basically destroyed over something she couldn't control, made my heart ache for other women who suffer from endometriosis and any other reproductive problems.
Knowing Krish wanted kids, Francesca ran before she could tie him down knowing she couldn't conceive. I couldn't imagine. I have 6 kids and I am truly blessed.
The chemistry between them was hotter than heck and I was fully on board with watching the two of them find each other again and it had such bollywood brilliance rolling through the pages that I need more books just like this.
I know I am likely in the minority but I really felt Francesca was misunderstood and her raw edge is someone living through extreme hormones and chronic pain you can't do anything about. Well done to the author for bringing this delicate and heart wrenching topic to the surface while keeping the book light hearted enough you won't drown.
