Certain Dark Things

This was a really creative and interesting read, but it disappointed me a bit in the end. The vampire lore/politics felt unique and the story was engaging, but the romance between the vampire and the teenage boy was extremely uncomfortable to read and seemed to come out of nowhere, and the cop character felt like a lot of wasted potential.
