I just finished Cave 13 by Jonathan Maberry and here is my review.
Joe Ledger and his rogue team are back at it again. This time in a deadly arms race that threatens to ignite new wars in the Middle East.
Decades were spent looking for the dead sea scrolls and finally they are found along with books full of obscure magic books. Corporations and terrorists alike are on the hunt to acquire them in hopes of controlling the world. Trouble is, anyone who gets near them goes insane.
Can Joe keep the world from being destroyed?
This book was non-stop action from start to finish. I loved the first 2 books in this series and this one was brilliant!
I love the fringe science that this book covers and the magical elements weaved through it. I am a huge fan of that cover topics this way in a smack you in the face action packed ride.
I kinda liked Mr Miracle. I can see how his obsession started. All the characters were well developed and interesting.
This story was so incredibly well written. It was perfectly paced and the author did some real;ly clever writing where they switched between first person and third person depending on who's POV it was.
I definitely want more from this series!!
