Holy hotness. First, we love a grumpy tattooed reading hockey player. Like hello all the tropes.

Pair him with “debutant” style Persephone, tiny blonde with perfect manners.

The pair wake up after a night in Vegas and realize they got married. They agree to stay together to keep up appearances, but Persephone falls along the way.

Cannon is reluctant AF because of his childhood. He doesn't think she deserves him. She deserves better so what's the point?

He was infatuated with her from the start, and always felt that raw need to protect, but that wasn't enough in his mind.

These two were so friggen sweet together. She was his light, and brought him out of the darkness. Always grumpy but never with her. Ugh ugh my heart.

Ren Revelous

I've been looking forward to reading Cannon and Persephone's story. It didn't disappoint. Old favorite characters made appearances with some of the new class also becoming part of the story. Also, they communicated well with each other.
