From USA Today Bestselling Author K Webster, comes a steamy contemporary romance standalone novel! I had the perfect life. But the man I loved broke me. Left my world a shattered mess. Now I'll do whatever it takes to protect my heart. Even if that means living by a new set of rules. In this game, I always win. Until Jackson. Tall. Intense. Devilishly handsome. He's the perfect opponent in the bedroom. Together, though, we break my rules. Hearts are involved. Everything is complicated. I wonder if it's time we forfeit the game. Losing is better than breaking all over again. Problem is, Jackson doesn't like to lose. Especially not me.

Absolutely loved this book! Been trying to catch up on older books by authors I currently love and this was one of my favorites! I was heartbroken for Andi and all that she has been through yet when she met Jackson I immediately wished she would break her 3-day rule. This book was fun, sexy as hell and a beautiful love story.. Highly recommended!
3.5 stars. There's a slow burn, hurt/comfort romance in there between Kane and Soren, but you have to wade through appearances by every one of the MCs from the Iron and Works series ([b:Free Hand 44752509 Free Hand (Irons and Works, #1) E.M. Lindsey https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1554153249l/44752509.SX50.jpg 69385197] plus six more), and although I have read all of the previous books I still found it annoying to have the “gay tattooed mafia” constantly show up to help out and look lovingly at their boyfriends/fiances/husbands. Points to the author for showing how intimate partner violence isn't confined to M/F couples, and as always for including characters who have disabilities but aren't defined by them.
