"Bright Dead Things examines the chaos that is life, the dangerous thrill of living in a world you know you have to leave one day, and the search to find something that is ultimately disorderly, and marvelous, and ours"--

An absolutely lovely book of poems; a perfect compliment to my solitary summer evening walks. In particular, the first poem, “How to Triumph Like a Girl,” struck a chord and will stick with me for a long time. I keep reading it over, and over, hoping it will imprint on my significantly-less-than-eight-pound heart.
I don't think I could've read this at a better time in my life so far. Incredibly good, honest and heartfelt. This is what poetry is and should be.
