5 out of 5 mistaken slaves and arrogant bastards who think they are gods (oh wait...) ⭐GENERAL REVIEWGood god, I really wanted to bash this man's head on the wall during his first few chapters. And then I wanted to bash his head both on walls and my coochie. And then just my coochie. He really is arrogance personified, so it's not hard to be mad at him. I feel like even his breathing is irritating. Faith has so much patience keeping up with him AND maintaining him. Her name should be Patience, not Faith.Plot-wise, it's very complex and long. And when I say long, I meant loooooonnnnnggggg. This book only included a few cities, and it's already a bit difficult to follow if you're not used to fantasy worlds. Especially since this is a multiple (sort of) standalone books with different protagonists and different (again, sort of) flow of events while still existing in the same world, unlike in most fantasy books where the entire series revolves in one long plotline. The second book ([b:Sworn to the Shadow God 59452797 Sworn to the Shadow God (Aspect and Anchor #2) Ruby Dixon https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1635228600l/59452797.SY75.jpg 75860195]) will show another part of the world including only a couple cities/parts from this book. World-building is great, it's a mix of Lord of the Rings and Clecanian Series ([a:Victoria Aveline 20040337 Victoria Aveline https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1582214671p2/20040337.jpg]). It's also not info-dumping that much that you would get bored out of your head, just enough to know or have an idea about the other gods and what could happen in the other books.♫♪♬♩♫♪♬♩♫♪♬♩Aspect and Anchor Playlist (Spotify)
