Bones of the Lost

Temperance Brennan is, hands down, my favorite fictional heroine. She's smart, sassy and, most importantly good at her job and cares about the victims whose sad tale she tries to tell. This latest novel sees Tempe investigate the hit and run death of a young unidentified girl, an investigation that leads to the gruesome discovery if a human trafficking ring. A side-trip to Afghanistan makes for a fast-paced, interesting read.
