Bones of Faerie

I liked the different take on the dystopian type world. Faeries and humans war and now we're left with the remains. Slightly like Forest of Hands & Teeth, but instead of Zombies it's now nature that the people left behind are afraid of. I found slight similarities with Laurell K. Hamilton's fictional world and found her name in the acknowledgments. I definitely felt like I need to read the next book to really get a feel for the characters and see where the story takes us. Though the book ends on a hopeful note you do get the sense that there's something more.
