Boiling Gap

I picked this one up because it was on the list of intentions for the BoH (FB group) indie brawl and went in entirely blind which was a good thing since I probably wouldn't have picked it up if I had read the blurb (I'm really tapped out on books that deal with parental loss and the word gothic is a red flag for me since 9 times out of 10 I'm bored silly by gothic lit). Given the number of things it had going against it with me it's surprising how much I actually enjoyed this one.

Just a word of warning, if animal death is a trigger for you approach with caution this one absolutely obliterated me with it.
