A fantastic collection of thought-provoking, well-crafted, utterly unique stories. A close second to [b:Kindred 60931 Kindred Octavia E. Butler https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1339423248s/60931.jpg 1049657] for my favorite of her works so far. Butler was clearly a force to be reckoned with – it baffles and saddens me that I had never heard of her until last year.
