When fifteen-year-old Gregory Hesse is found dead, a single gunshot to his head, it appears to be a tragic suicide. But it's a verdict his mother refuses to accept and eventually her pleas for an inquiry are taken seriously. Detective Peter Decker of the LAPD knows only too well what secret lives teenagers live. A situation made more unnerving by Decker's realisation he knows nothing about the boy in his care. Just six weeks later a sixteen-year-old girl commits suicide. She was a student at the same high school as Gregory, an exclusive academy well known for being a playground for the rich. As Decker's probes into the lives of these privileged teenagers, he must follow a dark trail of twisted allegiances and unholy alliances. And with the return of Gabe's father, former hit-man Chris Donnatti, the case takes an even more sinister turn!
