Dr. Anna Griffin is an intelligent and barrier-breaking psychiatrist. She believes in the whole healing process rather than drug-inducing methods. It's this method that may have landed her in some trouble as one night, after a talk, she is attacked by a former patient.
Another former patient witnesses the attack, but once he's come to his senses and rushes to where he saw it happen...there isn't anything there. No Dr. Anna. No attacker..no blood.
Was Dr. Anna attacked? Did he really see what he thinks?
This is a story about a woman whose past affects her choices and how those choices ultimately lead to failed schemes and deceptions. It affects not only herself, but those she has treated and worked with. I don't want to say too much because it will give away the details and this is much better digested than spoiled.
A slow-burn read that discusses mental health, grief, obsessions and “cracks in reality”. Definitely recommend this one.
