I can't really say that I understood any of the math in the book.
But it's a delightful journey to see the struggles and the epiphany that comes when creating a mathematical theorem. I love the book. Top 3.
Short and sweet. I would have liked there to be more technical stuff (or at least, some explanation of what the technical stuff was), but hey, what can you expect for a popular autobiography? I'd recommend it.
I didn't follow much of the math Villani was working on, but the vignettes about famous mathematical problems and persons made the entire book worthwhile.
