Probably the most traditional romance of the series so far, with fewer subplots and interactions with other series MCs. Plus lots and lots of sex (if you missed it in [b:American Traditional 48702856 American Traditional (Irons and Works, #3) E.M. Lindsey https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1572890808l/48702856.SY75.jpg 70743874], it's back!). I liked the fact that, although James is a double amputee, that's not a focus of the plot; it's just part of who he is. He's not overly concerned that Rowan can't love him because of his disability, although he does wonder what a fancy well-educated attorney wants with a mechanic/tattoo artist. Also appreciated the lack of angst between the two men even when they fear they can't find a way to make things work long-term. More than halfway through this series and am enjoying the characters tremendously, especially the support they all provide for each other when the chips are down.
