Beauty Queens

Just as weird and witty and hilarious as Going Bovine, but sometimes it felt like she was trying too hard for the jokes and the obvious message (girl empowerment). Still, loved it and would happily recommend it to 8th grade and high school girls and the right boys

I thought this book was hilarious. I actually laughed out loud so many times. I think my favorite character was General Good Times. Beauty Queens far exceeded my expectations for this novel. Great summer read!!!

I never laughed so much while reading a book. Perfect Summer Read.
