Are You There, Moriarty?

Are you there? Really good question... As a reader, I was really there with all my senses - AE Lister's excellent descriptions exuded an incredibly strong sense of warmth and comfort and transported me straight to the Victorian era, which was an absolute delight. Subtle touches of humour were woven into all the little details. Alastair and Toby were such a quirky, sweet and charming couple. They made me laugh so much with their first awkward attempts at getting to know each other, dancing around serious topics and falling right into hilarious misunderstandings. There was a slight D/s plotline going, but neither Alastair was an outstanding example of a Dom, nor Toby a submissive. It was more about exploring the kinks and discovering how they fit together as a couple. And all the dirty talk, omg, such a blast!!!
Generally light and low angst, this was my first dive into a historical-themed romance and AE Lister, the perfect guide for such kind of unforgetable experience.
