An Arab Spring? Israel, the World and the Changing Region

When analyzing the series of events that is now referred to as the “Arab Spring” or alternatively “Islamic Winter” , there is a certain leaning among writers that might bring to great disinformation among readers - that leaning is the idealization of Democracy.

Since the complex nature of the geopolitical developments among Arab nations might mislead one to believe the genuine Democratization of such countries , there is a danger in referring to these events with bias, since they are much more complicated and ultimately ,different then mare Democratization.

This assortment of essays is one of the most comprehensive and complete regarding the subject and a great buy to anyone that finds himself inquisitive to it, and yet it suffers in areas from the mentioned bias(while certain articles are clean of it) .

Although I greatly recommend it, I do so only to those who are able to examine the book critically, as to look at its faults and understand them.
