Honestly, this is one of the cutest love stories I have read in a while. Adorable and amazing. So, I want to start out my review thanking the people who convinced me to read this instead of leaving it on my TBR forever.
I'm not actually sure how to review this... what to mention? I haven't seen the play Hamilton, nor read the book it is based off of, nor do I know much about these historical figures besides what I was taught outside history class, but I always had a soft spot for Hamilton (and Jefferson, I couldn't pick a favorite in that time period.... ). Therefore, I can't say how accurate the characters are or how to true to history everything is, but there are moments here and there that made me think the author had done her research. I think everything is mostly accurate.
And the love story is so adorable. I really like what the author did with it.
It is just sad knowing what will happen... one reason why I hadn't gotten the nerve to read the book and now that I have read an adorable version of their story, how can I read the second book? I'm afraid my heart will break...
Anyhow, loved reading this and will definitely be recommending it to many, many people. Historical romance with some facts thrown in and a woman who helps the cause??? What isn't to like?!
