A Wizard of Earthsea

Great writing. Clean, no swearing. One thing that can be hard to find in fantasy books is balance. Many magical systems are too perfect, the characters can do incredible feats and there are no consequences. I love how this book emphasizes equilibrium and that there are consequences for magic and changing the natural balance of things.
