LOVE LOVE LOVE!
He's a villain whose been in love with the hero since they were children. They finally reconnect in adulthood and a relationship grows.
Landon is so relatable as he doesn't want to do anything but read at home and August is such a gd cutie. I adored these characters and seriously laughed so, so much while reading it. Even the side characters are great. I wished Landon's family could be shown how they toxic they are for him, but I guess they are villains so.... yeah.
I went in thinking this would be a novella and was over the moon when I realized it is a full-length novel. I had so much fun while reading this. I'd say don't take it serious and just have fun, but there are some emotional moments which give this novel just enough depth.
I ended up loving it so much, I ended up buying immediately after reading. If you know me, you know I don't buy many books (darn those student loans...), so this is a huge marker for how much I loved this book. I know I'll be re-reading it in the future.
