A Stranger in Olondria

This was another conflicting read. The prose is beautiful, and the world feels rich and real. There were some wonderful moments in the story, especially around the way the world unlocks new methods of engagement through literacy, but I found pretty much all of the characters impossible to connect with in any way - they all seemed uniquely awful, which made some portions a slog.
