A Sanctuary for Soulden

The spy stuff is pretty underdeveloped, but I enjoyed the relationship between Edmund and Phillip, which allowed both men to be honest with themselves and each other. The only real challenge to their HEA is the difference in their stations (and the fact that someone is trying to kill Phillip), so there's little angst, and quite a bit of dry humor. I've been meh on this series so far, but this one hit all the right notes. The MCs from previous books are involved (I found myself much more kindly disposed towards Christmas Gale than I was in his own book, [b:A Case for Christmas 57979143 A Case for Christmas (The Lords of Bucknall Club, #2) J.A.
