I loved this book. Of is a curmudgeon with habits that would drive me crazy if I had to live with him. But he digs his way into your heart so that by the end I, like other reviewers, needed half a box of tissues to read through the last few chapters of the book. Yes, I fell in love with Ove and with his quirky neighbors who formed a community and turned a neighborhood of row homes that replaced what once was a beautiful wooded area into a beautiful neighborhood made so by the bonds they formed as neighbors. I have highlights throughout the book where the descriptions are so on-point I wanted to be able to easily turn to them again. Definitely recommend!
