Oh my god. I did not expect that ending, I was very confused for a bit (did it to myself trying to figure out the ending before having any sort of concrete info). I love books with a good twist and this one had plenty of twists and turns which made the story more entertaining. I was trying so hard to be on Maya’s side throughout the whole book, but she continuously made bad decisions that would put her marriage at risk.

I loved the epilogue, specifically the part where Maya finally came to her senses and decided to stop being unfaithful to her husband, I get he could’ve been a little more helpful throughout the whole ordeal but that did not excuse what she was doing with his COUSIN. Besides the cheating (on someone who did not deserve it) the story was enjoyable and the narratorβ€”Allyson Morgan did an amazing job narrating.

This is an Advanced Listener copy. Although this book was given to me as an ALC my thoughts are my own. Thank you, Anna Sophia McLoughlin, RBmedia, and NetGalley, for the ALC opportunity!
