Marchmont can definitely write a gripping adventure! Men play fast and loose with the destiny of a German throne, heedless of the desires of the Kaiser or the young woman they are forcing to become Queen. This is most definitely a book that is unpredictable and miles from any hint of boring its readers. You will be on the edge of your seat wondering whether or not the hero can succeed in rescuing the heroine; time and time again, his path seems clear, only for a new obstacle to intervene. A sweet romance blossoms during the tale, but is it born only to be crushed by other influences?
