A Clash of Kings

An excellent followup to A Game of Thrones, propelling the characters into a war for the throne that gives us insight into the ever widening world of Westeros and the individual characters motivations, while also dropping hints as to what is to come.
As always the first 200 pages can be the toughest part to get through, I find it a bit plodding at times, but once things get going it is hard to put down.
