I really wanted to take my time with this book knowing that Jordan Peterson is quite controversial and outspoken online currently.
I believe it is very easy to caricature people and therefore wanted to avoid this with JP. I found this book to remind me of some solid truths around many of the rules. Precision in language, listening far more than we speak, asking questions of all that is around us.
I am happy I read this and would like others to especially if they have only seen short YouTube clips of Jordan Peterson up to this point. This gives another perspective that may be helpful.
