Roxy Harper

Roxy Harper is a debut historical romance author with a passion for epic love stories and powerful heroines. Born and raised in Kenya and of Portuguese-Goan heritage, Roxy’s storytelling is richly informed by her multicultural upbringing and a lifelong fascination with ancient history.

A lawyer by day and writer by night, Roxy brings a deep sense of drama, pace, and authenticity to her fiction. She studied Latin and Ancient Greek at university, which inspired her to set her first novel in the Eastern Roman Empire during the Viking age—a time of fierce warriors, fragile alliances, and forbidden passion.

Her love for storytelling began with sneaking Brontë and Austen novels under the covers by torchlight, and later discovering the world of Mills & Boon, where emotionally-charged romances opened her imagination to new possibilities. With Viking’s Royal Temptation, Roxy invites readers to journey into a time of danger and desire, where love blooms against all odds.

When she’s not writing or lawyering, Roxy loves travelling, reading romance, and escaping into historical worlds.
