Freddy stars as one of the leads, Kaz Brekker, leader of outlawed gang 'The Crows' in the Netflix fantasy drama ‘Shadow and Bone’. The hit TV series returned for a second season in 2023. Other major TV credits include a 3 episode turn in Prime series ‘Pennyworth’, as well as being a leading regular in Netflix’s popular teen drama ‘Free Rein’.

In 2023 he played series regular, Gideon, in 'The Doll Factory', a new Victorian thriller series on Paramount+, produced by the team behind 'Marcella', as well as guest starring in the BBC's Death in Paradise Christmas special. He has a leading part as a pilot in 'Masters of the Air' a new war epic TV series coming to Apple TV+ in 2024 about the US pilots who fought in the skies over Europe during World War II. Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are executive producers.

He also had a major role in C5 crime drama ‘15 Days’ and a small role in the Warner Bros feature film ‘Wonder Woman’.

His native accent is neutral/RP but is also comfortable with doing a Somerset accent as he grew up there.
