Diane Gaston is the Rita® Award winning author of over 30 books and novellas for Harlequin Historical. Once a mental health social worker who helped clients craft their own happy endings, Diane is now living her dream of writing romance. Diane's books are set in Regency England, the time of Jane Austen and the setting of Georgette Heyer, the same setting as Julia Quinn, Mary Balogh, Ann Gracie, Grace Burrows, Mary Jo Putney, and others. Diane's Regency Romances often feature the seamier side of the Regency. Her special love is for the Napoleonic War and its heroic soldiers. The daughter of an army colonel herself, Diane now lives near Washington, D.C. with her husband and two very ordinary cats.
