I'm depressed and it's Hajime Isayama's fault. I will be billing him for my therapy.

I made a mental note to check out this book after I read “The Hate U Give” and I totally wasn't disappointed! This book made me think a lot, not just about the main character Bri's life, but about mine too. I can't wait for the movie adaption of this! The minute the raps get recorded I'm going to add them to my playlist. They were all very clever! The lines below are my favorite!
“You see they figure I'm a n** that's gon' rap ‘bout pulling triggers, Just to make their pockets bigger while the world yells I'm a sinner”
The entire thing was very well written and once I started reading it, it was hard for me to put down. Each of Bri's raps was thought out very well and it's obvious when you read them. Each one has a deeper meaning that is impossible to not appreciate.
I really liked this one! That ending was such a cliffhanger! I liked this one more because it was more plot-driven
I really liked this one! You get to find out more about Hanako and you get introduced to a cool new character!
It was dark, bone-chilling, vile, disgusting, and creepy. Everything I signed up for.
I have no qualms with this comic. In fact, the only problem I have with Killing Stalking is some of the fans. People who have heard about Killing Stalking through another fan might have heard some lies about it so I'm going to clear one thing up right now. If you think this is a romance, yaoi, or BL, leave. Sangwoo and Yoonbum are not a pair you should be rooting for and the author did that on purpose. I know people who said they hated the comic and that it was disgusting and when I asked why they said the “romance” was gross. Well, duh. It's supposed to be the kind of shit that makes you vomit in your mouth. Neither Sangwoo, nor Yoonbum is healthy mentally. It's a story about a deranged serial killer and his delusional stalker.
While I couldn't say how accurately Sangwoo or Yoonbum's mental illness was displayed because I'm not an expert and I've never experienced anything close to what most of the characters in this comic have gone through, I think they were amazingly written characters put in an incredibly written plot that had the best ending you could think of.
To summarize my whole rant there, I think you could really enjoy this comic if you're a fan of creepy stories you can spend forever analyzing but if you are here looking for people to ship or call “ur baby,” or really looking for any romance at all, then you should find another book.
This whole book honestly changed my life in 5th grade and prompted my mind o think differently about things. I totally recommend it!
I'm new to Marvel comics and everyone told me to read this. It was super good! I really liked it
This book wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. It gave me no strong impact one way or another.
This book's got me all kinds of fucked up. As an African-American adolescent, this book really spoke to me. Scenes with her dad got me emotional because he reminds me of my dad so much. I recommend this book. It's totally worth the read!
My rating: 3.7
“ALBUS: Friends?
SCORPIUS: Always“
I'm going to be honest with you here, I did not expect to like this book but it snuck up on me and took me by surprise. Though there were some little plot holes that I noticed, this story was really good! It perfectly displayed the characters of the Harry Potter series that we all know and love, and even introduced some more! It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and completely captured me in this new world. Though a lot of people say they don't like this book, and while the story was never asked for, I genuinely loved it and would recommend it to any fans of the series!
Scorpius and Albus should have ended up together
This book was amazing!! I only took off one star because five-star reviews are usually limited to books that made me cry. While I didn't cry on this book, it was definitely an interesting book that leaves so much room for thought. It's incredibly intellectually stimulating and makes for amazing discussion. Reading this book in 2022 is a little horrifying though. Bradbury predicted the future almost perfectly and I fear that we may be sprinting directly to the dystopian future that this book predicts.
I always love Nick and Charlie related content!! I love this book but idk if it would work as a stand alone if you've never read heartstopper.
no actual review yet cus it's been a minute since the last time I read this but i was just thinking about it and now I wanna reread it so I'll write a full review then. For now, i just wanna assure that this book is amazing! I think about it all the time and it genuinely shaped me as a person. I actually read this book for the first time when I was in fifth grade and very closeted. So closeted, that i was shaking just asking for this book even though no one would know what it's about just based on the title or cover. I related to Simon so deeply and I feel like i honestly wouldn't have come out to my family if I didn't read this book, or at least, it would've taken me a much longer time. When I first read this (in 2017) there were virtually no LGBT books or movies I'd ever seen with a happy ending. It was always either some short story where everyone dies or the main character's best friend played for jokes. Simon vs the Homosapiens Agenda was the book that showed me that I am a person worthy of love. It was literally the only piece of media with a queer character who's family actually accepted them that I had ever seen. Simon vs the Homosapiens Agenda gave me Hope. Sure it scared me seeing the homophobia in his school, but I'd already seen that in my life. It was more powerful watching Simon overcome it and find people that love and support him for who he his. I came out to my family and friends a year later. Either way, you should definitely read this book. It literally changed my life.
that cliffhanger though! I'd hate to have read this when it came out and have to wait for the next chapter
I loved it!! I was binging it before I watched the movie so I went between reading it and listening to it, so I know some people said they felt like it dragged but I didn't get that at all. This book was enticing to me and hard to put down. It also really messed with my emotions. It's definitely one of my favorite reads of 2023!
“Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold...”
5.00
This was very good! My sister has been telling me to read it for three years straight, so I had high expectations going into this book, and it didn't disappoint! The story follows a fourteen-year-old greaser named Ponyboy Curtis (yes, that is his real name) who can't seem to catch a break. He's good with school and lives with his two older brothers Darry, and Sodapop.
I won't spoil it for you, but things get bad, and Ponyboy has to deal with the effects. I didn't get hooked on the book until the fourth chapter, but it isn't bad at the start. That's only when it starts to get especially interesting.
This book has some of the best characters I've ever seen, and it feels like I've known them for forever!
5 out of 5
This kind of story is not for everyone, and it defenantly is not for the innocent. I personally love dark humor and don't mind the sex but if that is something you aren't into then you should probably find another book.
does anyone else lowkey simp for yaguchi
