Why this book?
Life changing and a permanent fixture in my life as far as looking for advice when I don't know what to do. It's easy to know what to do when you know what you want out of life -- what you care most about -- what really matters.
Why this book?
Strong feminine protagonist, but in a society where femininity isn't her core defining attribute. I read it as a teen and it was relatable, approachable, powerful, heartbreaking, inspiring, and intentional.
